Inclusive Preschool Open House
Ridgewood Public Schools is offering an exciting opportunity for typically developing Preschool age children to participate in a unique classroom experience. The Inclusive Preschool classroom holds expectations and intentionally promotes participation in all learning and social activities, facilitated by individualized accommodations and uses services and supports to foster the development of students with or without special needs. We use a state approved, evidence-based curriculum to promote kindergarten readiness across all developmental domains including cognitive, communication, physical, behavioral and social/emotional. Research also indicates that typically developing children show positive developmental, social, and attitudinal outcomes from inclusive experiences.
